Our family of two celiac/coeliac and one gluten eater made a long weekend visit to Paris in January 2025. We chose to stay Hotel Mansart just around the corner from Place de Vendôme on Rue des Capucines. This was a great location in the 1er arrondissment walking distance to the major sites we were planning to visit including the Musée du Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Notre Dame, Musée de l'Orangerie, and the Arc de Triomphe. This is also a great location as it is close to Gluten Free bakeries and restaurants.

(with many more locations through out Paris)
Open 8a.m. - 8p.m.
This was the best bread and pastries that we had in Paris. I only wish we did not wait until the last day to visit. We had sandwiches and pastries that we packed for our flight home as a freak snowstorm in the southern United States caused us to need to change flights and with that Air France could not guarantee they could provide gluten free meals on the flight. We even brought a loaf of the Keryan Cocoa back home, and it stayed fresh for several days wrapped in plastic. This is a must visit for people with celiac/coeliac! They have so many locations that you will find one close to wherever you are. The Opera location had a lovely cafe in the basement where you could dine in.

This is a busy dedicated gluten free bakery and cafe in the 7er Arrondissement, a short 10 minute walk from Musée d'Orsay. It is quite busy during peak times and a line forms on the sidewalk outside to order at the counter. We have visited this bakery in the summer and then again this January. It was much quieter in January and we had the opportunity to eat inside the cafe. We had hot chocolate and pain au chocolat. The pain au chocolat was denser than a traditional gluten flour one, with not a lot of air bubbles. It did have a wonderful taste. The pastries we tried were outstanding. We did take some with us to have for breakfast at the hotel. This is a really great option if you are on the Left Bank for either take out or a if there is not a too long a wait to dine in for a meal.
There are other dedicated gluten free bakeries that I hope to try on a longer trip. I will update this page when I have a chance to visit Paris again for longer.
